A New Year with a New Start

Thanks to some nasty little troll(s), I have to go maximum security on ya'll. Sorry about that. I'm also doing a super big friends cut, mainly those who never comment. If you think you've been cut on accident, just comment. Thanks!

I now have an icon journal. Soon, all of my icon graphics, and any new ones I make, will be posted and kept organized over at yourtruecolors.

They're also going to be organized in the memories.

Also, side note: Hershey's kisses with caramel kick ass.

Thanks, have a magical day.

3 Keep Moving - - - - Move On
Written for teffy's C&C Snuggly Fic Challenge. Quite a luffly little piece of Lost fanfic if I do say so myself.

Written for girlfrom10thave who asked for Hurley, cute awkwardness, post baby-birth, and very little Jack. No Shannon. No Shannon at all. She's icky.

Title: All You Had to Do Was Ask
Pairing: Charlie/Claire, but of course
Disclaimer: I don't own them. Of course I don't own them. Do you think if I owned the Lost characters I'd be in debt right now???
Summary: Charlie finally caves in and admit he wants to truly love both Claire and her baby...

A blood curdling scream ripped throughout the island. Rest is hereCollapse )

Post a comment here anonymously (make sure it's anonymous or we could all be very embarassed!) Tell me what you think about me. Am I actually very irritating? Am I a total hottie? Is there something you've always wanted to say to me but have been too shy/scared/terrified of my wrath? Let it rip! This baby's gonna be a public post!!!

15 Keep Moving - - - - Move On

1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Played The Sims, learned PaintShopPro, broke up with someone and actually kept talking to them

2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No.  I don’t have the commitment to keep them, so I just don’t bother making them.  I make resolutions all year long.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
YES!  2 someones!!  Including my new baby nephew!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
He wasn’t very close, but he was more like a grandfather to me than anyone I’ve ever had

5. What countries did you visit?
None in ’04…hopefully ask me again in ‘05

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
A car, a promotion, and a boyfriend, in that order

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory?
June 6, September 12

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Becoming a driver!

9. What was your biggest failure?
Everything else…

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Stupid cold…stupid stupid cold…

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My trip to Disney with my niece…

A standard room at Wilderness Lodge (got upgraded to concierge for free!): $133

Ohana for dinner:  $70

Cinderella’s Royal Table for breakfast:  $50

Pal Mickey Rental:  free for cast appreciation day

My niece’s undying love and devotion: priceless

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
President George W. Bush

14. Where did most of your money go?
Disney World…darn those discounts!!

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The birth of a whole new family member!

16. What song/album will always remind you of 2004?
Clay Aiken’s “Measure of a Man”.  I listened to it all year long, and we road tripped with it multiple times

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder?
I’m bipolar, so I’m really very inbetween on this.  Lots of good has happened in my life, but I’ve reached some serious states of depression recently that I never would’ve had in 2003.
ii. thinner or fatter? Fatter, I work in a call center now sitting on my butt, not running back and forth like a crazy lady around a store
iii. richer or poorer? Richer-sort of.  I’m getting paid more an hour

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Gone out and had a social life.  That will hopefully improve with the addition of a car into my life

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
laying in bed and hurting

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
More than likely at my brother and sister-in-law’s house watching Mykayla do Christmas, and then going home for Mom and I to do our, like, 2 presents, and then going BACK to their house to watch Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas

22. Did you fall in love in 2004?
No…I did fall out of it

23. How many one night stands in this last year?
Zip, zero, nada

24. What was your favorite TV program?

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don’t hate people.  But I greatly dislike a few coworkers that I didn’t even know last year, sooooo…

26. What was the best book you read?
I’m so cheesy…  Learning to Sing by Clay Aiken

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Honestly, 2004 was full of mostly tried and trues, though I finally got into Evanescence this year

28. What did you want and get?
Some really close friends at work

29. What did you want and not get?
True love, a social life in general

30. What was your favourite film of this year?
So far of the ones I’ve seen this year, The Princess Diaries 2, simply because it truly made me happy

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 22.  And I did pretty much nothing.  I went to Tia’s, which is what I do almost every year, and then hung out with my family some.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
good health in my family would’ve been nice

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Jeans and collared shirt.  When you work 5 or 6 days a week and that’s what you tend to wear to work, you usually adopt it as a style

34. What kept you sane?
Icon making, music, my journal

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you like the most?
Clay Aiken, John Edwards

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
I’m with Lauren, the fact that gay marriage is such an issue.  Some people are so truly cruel.  And Will told me that in Florida it’s illegal for gay couples to adopt children, and then Mom informed me that’s the reason Rosie O’Donnel’s last child was taken away.  OMG…welcome to the 21st century people, homosexuality is pretty much a given.  You may as well accept it.  Learned this even more when the first week of June neared, and Gay Day questions came on my line…especially the ignorant asshole who came right out and said he didn’t want to be here when all the “fags and dikes were here”

37. Who did you miss?
Sheila and Sylvia, Gareth, Joy!!

38. Who was the best new person you met?

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004.
You can’t give up.  That’s just all there is to it, no matter how much it sucks you can’t quit.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
I’ll spread my wings and I’ll learn how to fly.  I’ll do what it takes until I touch the sky, I’ll make a wish, take a chance, make a change, and breakaway.

Soooo tired...got a candle party tomorrow and it sucks.  NO ONE is coming because my printer is still so dead and haven't been able to print out invites.  Anyone other than Dan want me to send them a PartyLite catalog?  You know, when I get mine.

Because I'm sick and too achy for a real post...

A meme, snatched from the wonderful world of jeremyleff, who still needs to get his butt down here.

1. Reply to this post if you'd like me to tell you how cool you are.

2. Watch my journal over the next few days for a post just about you and why I think you rock.

3. Post these instructions in your journal, meme-style (because that's what this is).

I'm making a lot of work for myself, I can see it now, but I'm bored, so it's all good.

I've got a really sad, stressed out, tragic post in the making, but I really need to sit down and pour my heart out to do so.

So until then...
